ORANGE, Calif., Dec. 9, 2019 /-- KDOC-TV, channel 56, and the California Interscholastic Federation, Southern Section (CIF-SS) and are pleased to announce the expansion of the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner Game of the Week on KDOC-TV.  

In the first year, the Pacific Surfliner Game of the Week featured 10 basketball games. This year KDOC-TV will telecast 20 local basketball games featuring CIF-SS matchups and selected Big West Conference basketball games. The expanded broadcast agreement provides CIF-SS member schools with a platform to showcase their athletic talent through the 2021-2022 season.  CIF-SS schools feature the number one player in the country (ranked by ESPN) as well as 5 of the top 25 schools in the nation. The Big West conference features UC Irvine, who made an exciting run in the NCAA tournament last season.

The games will be called by long-time Southern California based announcers, Randy Rosenbloom and Paul Westphal.
