KIDS RIDE FREE ON AMTRAK PACIFIC SURFLINER TO FULLERTON RAILROAD DAYS

LOS ANGELES – Take the entire family and the kids will ride free on Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner to Railroad Days, Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Fullerton Train Station. In its 18th year, Railroad Days, a free event sponsored by the Southern California Railway Plaza Association, is a delight to rail fans and families from throughout the region. Past attendance has climbed close to 30,000 during this fun-filled weekend.

The Kids Ride Free offer allows one child, age 2-12, to ride free with each paid adult ticket for travel to and from Fullerton, Calif., on May 6 and 7 on Amtrak Pacific Surfliner trains. The offer is only available on Amtrak.com with promotion code V315.

The Pacific Surfliner is funded by the state of California through the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and is operated by Amtrak under a contract with the LOSSAN Rail Corridor Agency.

All Pacific Surfliner trains feature comfortable, reclining seats with power outlets, Wi-Fi, bike and luggage racks, and access to a Café car featuring fresh food, snacks and beverages, including wine, cocktails and local craft beer. Passengers can also choose to upgrade to Business Class for an additional fee to receive a guaranteed seat, additional legroom, complimentary snacks and beverages, and other perks.
